What is Thailand Elite Program?
The Thailand Elite program is a government project that, ultimately, aims to promote tourism in the country. To convince more people to come into Thailand for leisure purposes, the government created the Thailand Elite to give foreigners exclusive perks for coming to stay in Thailand for both the short-term and the long term.
As members of the program, foreign nationals get to enjoy, for starters, a 5-year validity of their visa, which is good for multiple entries. For each entry into Thailand, you can stay up to a year without having to do the requisite borders runs you’d have to do if you held the regular tourist visa.

The Seven Types of Membership Cards in Thailand Elite
When you sign up for membership in Thailand Elite, you get to choose from four options of membership. These are, specifically:
- Elite Ultimate Privilege
- Elite Privilege Access
- Elite Easy Access
- Elite Family Premium
- Elite Family Alternative
- Elite Family Excursion
- Elite Superiority Extension
Each of these cards offer members specific privileges in addition to the 5-year multiple entry visa they get as part of their enrollment to the program.
